It was so nice waking up this and seeing the beautiful snow. I hope it stays for a little bit (but no too long!) Here's what we are learning this week in Kindergarten:
Language Arts: The letter of the week is D. Students will also be practicing reading fluently by chaning the volume of their voice when reading. We also learn the differences between a sentence and a question and will practice making statements and asking questions.
Math: This week, we will continue our unit on graphing. The focus this week will continue to be on graphing. We will also be learning about tally marks with Mr. Tally.
Social Studies: Since this is a short week, I have planned a quick review on position words. The focus this week will be on using position words to describe the location of something on a map.
Vocabulary: In Front, Behind, Above, Below, Near, Far, Left, Right
