means inside recess today, but it looks like sunshine the rest of the week. Here's what going on in Room 110:
Language Arts: We are working on fluency this week. Students will be learning about reading with expression. In writing, the focus will be on editing and checking for periods and those upper case letters that sneak into our writing.
Science: We are learning about animal needs this week and how animals grow and change. Hopefully, our butterflies will be here soon! We have also started incubating ducks and anticipate their hatching at the end of May.
Math: This week marks the beginning of our 2 week unit on addition. Students will be learning to add to 5 using concrete objects this week. Next week, we will move more into adding with numbers and symbols.
